Description

We are seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk in Tampa, Florida. The individual will be joining our client working with invoice processing, data entry, and account reconciliation. The role will primarily involve handling invoices, ensuring accurate GL coding and two-way matching of purchase orders and invoices, as well as tracking lien waivers.

Responsibilities:

• Handle the processing of incoming invoices, primarily via email, ensuring accurate GL coding to the correct expense account.

• Conduct two-way matching of purchase orders and invoices

• Garner invoice approvals, routing invoices to the appropriate approvers and ensuring efficient workflow.

• Track lien waivers and apply as necessary

• Reconcile credit card statements for various accounts

• Conduct weekly check runs and pay invoices using other means such as credit card and ACH

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in an Accounts Payable Clerk role or similar position

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation and Accounts Payable (AP)

• Experience with Check Runs and Coding Invoices

• Strong data entry skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Knowledge of Lien Waivers is beneficial

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Good organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines

• High school diploma or equivalent, higher degree in relevant field is a plus
