Description We are offering a position for a Contracts Administrator in the business services industry, located in Tampa, Florida, 33609, United States. The focus of this role involves the management and oversight of contracts throughout their lifecycle, primarily within our Mergers and Acquisitions function. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of complex tasks, requiring a high degree of legal reasoning, research, and writing skills.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the Mergers and Acquisitions contracting function.

• Manage, track, and negotiate contracts in accordance with our contract policies and procedures.

• Review Mergers and Acquisitions due diligence, present findings to stakeholders, and partner with outside counsel and consultants to determine compliance/risk.

• Drive post-acquisition combination/integration work plans.

• Ensure all contracts comply with local, state, and federal laws.

• Supervise contractor and vendor pipelines.

• Prepare contract letters and other legal communications/notices.

• Assess needs and develop new policies for the Contracts Department.

• Improve filing and data control processes in accordance with compliance standards.

• Monitor inbound email traffic to identify requests from internal and external customers and triage inbound emails for required actions, urgency, and potential escalation to senior leadership.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for certificates of insurance requirements by both internal and external customers.

• Support the administration of the contract database and filing system, using consistent standards for data entry and document storage.

• Assist sales operations with interpretation of contractual requirements in RFPs and bid responses.

• Support ad-hoc requests as identified. Requirements

-Juris Doctorate degree

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the role of a Contracts Administrator or a similar role within the Business Services industry

• Demonstrated experience in Mergers & Acquisitions (M& A)

• Proven ability to negotiate and manage contracts

• Experience in drafting contracts, legal documents, letters, and agreements

• Comprehensive understanding of legal contracts and the ability to interpret and apply them effectively

• Proven track record of successfully negotiating contracts

• Strong understanding of compliance in the context of contract administration

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Proficiency in using standard office software and contract management systems.
