Description
We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity in Tampa, Florida, for a Junior IT Project Manager w/ 1 to 2 years of experience. This role is focused on managing smaller projects and post-production recurring releases in the insurance industry, although insurance experience isn't a necessity. The individual will be expected to expand their skills and knowledge in project management, design, software release, and acquisition integration.
Responsibilities:
• Overseeing and managing smaller projects within the organization
• Coordinating post-production recurring releases
• Expanding proficiency in project management tools and software
• Assisting in the design and implementation of project plans
• Ensuring project deadlines are met and deliverables are of high quality
• Managing the integration of new acquisitions into existing projects
• Building expertise in the property casualty insurance sector
• Assisting in the management of project resources and time tracking
• Facilitating communication among team members and stakeholders
• Continually seeking opportunities to grow knowledge and expand skill set in project management.Ju
Requirements • Proficiency in the 'About Time' software for accurate time tracking and project management.
• Experience in creating and managing project deliverables to ensure timely completion of projects.
• Strong design skills, with a focus on creating effective workflows and processes.
• Knowledge of Property Casualty Insurance policies and procedures.
• Experience in managing software release cycles, including planning, development, testing, and deployment stages.
• Proven ability to meet project deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
