We are seeking a Payroll Administrator to join our team in Tampa, Florida. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth running of our payroll system, serving a team of approximately 500 employees. The Payroll Administrator will manage the bi-weekly payroll cycle. The Payroll Administrator will enjoy a schedule requiring only 1 day in office per week! Responsibilities:

• Oversee the bi-weekly payroll cycle, ensuring all payments are processed accurately and on time

• Coordinate with various departments for timely approval and processing of timesheets

• Transition from the Engage HR payroll system to ADP, managing all related tasks and troubleshooting issues

• Address and resolve any payroll-related inquiries or issues from employees

• Monitor payroll activities and reports for accuracy, adjusting as necessary

• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations concerning payroll

• Use Microsoft Excel to maintain accurate records and generate reports

• Manage straightforward tax situations related to payroll

• Assist in the processing of paperwork related to payroll

• Collaborate with other team members to improve and streamline the payroll process.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Payroll Administrator or in a similar role.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.

• Demonstrated experience managing multi-state payroll.

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

• High degree of professionalism and ability to deal sensitively with confidential material.

• Strong interpersonal (verbal and written) communication skills.

• Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate when necessary.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong problem-solving skills.

• High level of accuracy and efficiency.
