Description We are looking for an Accounting Clerk to be part of our team. Situated in Temecula, California, this role centers around managing financial records and ensuring accuracy in transactions. The successful candidate will be responsible for reconciling accounts, managing payables, utilizing Excel for financial analysis, and providing general support to the accounting team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies

• Verify and correct data for all transactions

• Manage payable invoices, ensuring they adhere to company policies

• Collaborate with vendors and internal departments to address payment discrepancies and resolve issues

• Prepare and execute payments accurately and on schedule

• Utilize Excel functions and formulas for financial data analysis, reporting, and reconciliation processes

• Develop and maintain spreadsheets for tracking and analyzing financial information

• Assist in month-end closing procedures, including journal entries and account analysis

• Provide support to the accounting team with ad hoc tasks and projects as required

• Use Excel for reconciliation, pulling data, and running searches and sums. Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years experience in an accounting or financial role

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, particularly in creating and using Excel formulas

• Familiarity with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes

• Experience in managing payable invoices

• Strong skills in computer data entry and accuracy

• Excellent organizational and time management abilities

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
