Robert Half Content Marketing Specialist in Temecula, California


Robert Half Direct has an excellent full-time opportunity for a Content Marketing Specialist to create persuasive marketing and sales collateral to support our client's content strategy and sales execution. This position with work with the demand generation and product marketing teams to develop messaging and content strategies for varying personas and use cases.

This position understands how to create, improve, and maintain content to grow our audience, drive demand and lead generation, drive engagement, and build relationships. The candidate needs to be prepared to pitch new ideas, project manage content development, and write everything from landing papers to white papers.

The ideal candidate will be a highly analytical thinker with an audience-first mindset, demonstrable creative writing skills, and ability to communicate effectively to a range of B2B segments. It is considered extremely valuable if the candidate is an expert in content optimization and brand consistency.


  • Work closely with the marketing team to conceive creative ideas that result in effective, breakthrough communication that converts prospects to clients

  • Act as a brand expert, editing and publishing content created across the marketing organization

  • Translate technical topics into creative deliverables, landing pages, web copy, email campaigns, ad campaigns, and brochures

  • Multi-task across simultaneous projects and deadlines, collaborating with appropriate team members

  • Keep ahead of trends and providing proactive inspiration and recommendations

  • Completes special projects from time to time as required to facilitate the success of the Company

  • Builds all content leveraged in demand-generating campaigns

  • Deeply understand our audiences and what they need to become engaged and be successful

  • Identify, develop, and maintain a unique, consistent tone-of-voice for each audience

  • Develop, edit, and test messaging for these personas and use cases


  • 3-5 years’ experience in content marketing or copywriting, preferably with a B2B company

  • Persuasive writing skills

  • Tech savvy with the ability to learn new software and systems quickly

  • Respond well to feedback and revisions

  • Must have a track record of conversions and understand metrics involved in click-throughs, conversions, etc...

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications

  • Knowledge of SEO optimization

  • Have deep understanding of platforms and social media best practices

  • Strong creative thinking skills and ability to think conceptually

  • Comfortable working independently with little direction under tight deadlines

  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a diligent eye for detail, language, flow, and grammar

  • Proven ability to demonstrate brand voice

  • Strong attention to detail
