Robert Half Purchasing Assistant in Temecula, California

Description We are offering a role for a Purchase & Sales Specialist located in Temecula, California. This role is integral to our procurement process, requiring a strong background in purchasing and the ability to navigate supplier relationships efficiently. The successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail and will be proficient in vendor research, price comparison, purchase order processing, and delivery coordination.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitating the timely acquisition of goods while maintaining cost efficiency

• Conducting meticulous vendor research and price comparisons

• Processing purchase orders and coordinating deliveries in an organized and efficient manner

• Maintaining precise records and utilizing analytical skills to monitor inventory levels, track expenses, and identify cost-saving opportunities

• Thriving in fast-paced environments and contributing to streamlined procurement operations

• Fostering productive collaborations across departments

• Employing data processing skills to ensure accuracy and efficiency

• Utilizing Microsoft Excel for various purchasing activities and functions

• Handling accounts payable and billing functions

• Executing data entry tasks and operating purchasing software

Skills:

• Proficient in Data Processing, Microsoft Excel, Accounts Payable (AP), Billing Functions, Check Processing, Customer Service, Data Entry

• Experience in Purchasing Activities, Purchasing Functions, Purchasing planning, Purchasing Materials, Purchasing software Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Purchase & Sales role

• Proficiency in Data Processing and Microsoft Excel

• Experience in Accounts Payable (AP) and Billing Functions

• Experience in Check Processing and Customer Service roles

• Strong Data Entry skills

• Familiarity with Purchasing Activities and Purchasing Functions

• Experience in Purchasing Planning, Purchasing Materials, and Purchasing Software

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• High attention to detail and accuracy

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field is preferred
