Robert Half Accounting Clerk in Tempe, Arizona

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounting Clerk in Tempe, Arizona. This role is situated within the finance industry and involves various accounting functions such as account reconciliation, accounts payable and receivable, billing, and data entry.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately processing and reconciling accounts, ensuring all transactions are recorded promptly and correctly

• Handling accounts payable and receivable, ensuring all invoices are paid on time and all payments received are accurately recorded

• Managing the billing process, creating and sending out invoices, and following up on outstanding payments

• Utilizing various software such as Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for data entry tasks

• Monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate action when necessary

• Ensuring the accuracy of customer credit records and processing customer credit applications efficiently

• Resolving customer inquiries related to accounts and billing in a timely manner

• Assisting with other accounting functions as needed. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR) and Billing

• Demonstrated skills in Data Entry and Invoice Processing

• Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel for financial tasks and data management

• Experience with Oracle for database management and financial applications

• Proficiency in using QuickBooks for accounting and financial management

• Experience in using SAP for business process management and data handling

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion in handling sensitive financial information

• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high levels of accuracy in financial tasks

• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles

• Good verbal and written communication skills for interacting with clients and team members

• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• Proven ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

• Willingness to continue learning and improving accounting skills and knowledge.
