Description
Robert Half has a corporate client who is seeking a Financial Reporting Analyst to join their team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in preparing and analyzing financial reports, ensuring compliance with US GAAP, SEC regulations, and other financial reporting requirements. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance reporting processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation of annual and quarterly financial reports, ensuring compliance with US GAAP, SEC, and other regulatory standards.
Draft and analyze financial statement footnotes and support schedules.
Assess and reconcile financial reporting data received from various functional areas and service providers.
Support the implementation and compliance of new and evolving accounting and reporting standards.
Complete account reconciliations on complex areas of accounting.
Perform Regulatory and Internal Risk Reporting for Firmwide and North America Chief Investment Office, Treasury, and Corporate/Liquidity Risk Reporting.
Actively participate in Strategic Transformation Programs to automate and enhance controls within financial reporting.
Utilize Tableau, Alteryx, and other Intelligent Solutions to automate reporting processes.
Improve control environments by automating manual processes and enhancing process documentation.
Ensure accuracy and timeliness of deliverables while supporting risk managers in monitoring and reporting risk exposures.
Effectively communicate and collaborate with global stakeholders across risk management and financial teams.
Requirements
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
0-4 years of experience in Risk and/or Financial Reporting; candidates with less experience will be considered if skillset aligns with team objectives.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills with a strong control mindset.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and various levels of management.
Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office; knowledge of VBA is a plus.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and solve problems independently.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with financial regulatory reporting.
Familiarity with Tableau, Alteryx, or similar data visualization/automation tools.
Knowledge of liquidity stress testing, capital risk, and market risk reporting.
