Robert Half Financial Reporting Analyst Basic (1-3 years) in Tempe, Arizona

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Financial Reporting Analyst Basic (1-3 years) in Tempe, Arizona, United States. The role involves handling various financial reporting tasks, maintaining compliance with US GAAP SEC and other financial reporting requirements, and collaborating with different teams across the globe.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of annual and quarterly financial reports in compliance with US GAAP SEC and other financial reporting requirements

• Prepare required supporting schedules and documents

• Assess financial reporting information received from other functional areas and service providers

• Draft financial statement footnotes

• Assist in implementation and compliance with new and proposed accounting and reporting standards

• Complete account reconciliations on complex areas of accounting

• Participate in multiple projects and reporting needs by working with teams across the globe

• Contribute to identifying and executing on opportunities to streamline processes

• Support the control processes through periodic review of the reports and maintain relevant documentation

• Communicate effectively to all levels of executive management and peers. Requirements • Possess a minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a financial reporting or similar role

• Proficiency in financial reporting and US GAAP

• Hands-on experience with account reconciliation, audit, and review procedures

• Familiarity with securities and exchange commission practices

• Ability to provide workstation support and production services

• Experience in implementing new methods and streamlining existing processes

• Capable of preparing quarterly financial reports and supporting schedules

• Proven skills in metric reporting and market risk management

• Knowledge of AB testing and its application in financial scenarios

• Demonstrated ability to influence business decisions and interact with executive leadership

• Strong documentation skills and attention to detail

• Experience with photocopying/scanning documents as part of record keeping

• Proficient in managing relationships with service providers

• Ability to carry out financial statement audits

• Familiarity with accounting functions in a financial setup

• Compliance-oriented mindset with a focus on adhering to all regulatory and company standards.
