Our Banking client is actively seeking an Outbound Sales Representative (Hybrid) to join their team in Tempe, AZ. Our client is specifically looking for candidates holding:
As an Outbound Sales Representative (Hybrid), you will play a key role of being a Commercial Card and Wholesale Payables Subject Matter Expert (SME), responsible for working directly with suppliers to identify objection to card and other e-payables acceptance.
By offering applicable product solutions or features, you will aim to enroll or retain suppliers on Commercial Card and Wholesale Payables programs. An Outbound Sales Representative will primarily work with suppliers to enroll into Virtual Connect Network.
You will play a pivotal role in working directly with suppliers to provide a best-in-class experience for clients and their suppliers. Key focus of this role is to engage and partner closely with suppliers via outbound call or email to describe the product and services to enroll into Virtual Connect Network.
Effectively build rapport with suppliers on the phone; conveying confidence and presence while consulting to identify their needs
Manage supplier contact across multiple outbound and inbound channels, including phone, email, web, and internal reporting
Verifying accuracy of information provided by client and/or supplier
Identify root cause for supplier objection to product acceptance by offering product feature and/or service solutions to meet supplier needs and concerns
Research contact information using available tools and resources
Identify potential process improvements in supplier engagement
Demonstrate exceptional negotiation
Skills / Requirements:
Bachelor's degree preferred (recent graduates are strongly encouraged to apply), high school required
Previous sales experience, or strong customer service / client services or call center experience preferred
Strong communication via verbal and written
Strong customer service experience
Experience in inbound/outbound communication
Ability to report and analyze accounts
Ease to learn new systems/applications
Strong team player
Experience in customer enrollment

Contract Type: Contract-to-hire
Contract Length: 3 months (strong possibility of extension or conversion to permanent)
Location: Hybrid – 3 days from office / 2 days from home
