Description
We are seeking a Sr Engineer – IT Quality Assurance, based in Tempe, Arizona, 85281. This role involves overseeing and assuring the quality of IT systems and software in a high-paced environment. The candidate will be involved in developing test strategies, maintaining communication with the management team, and contributing to process improvements.
This position offers a 6-month contract employment with potential to convert opportunity.
Tempe, AZ Hours: requiring three days onsite
Responsibilities:
Utilizing QA results to influence the management team and reinforce positive behaviors.
Building open and honest relationships through effective communication.
Driving team success through continuous process improvements leading to increased efficiency and effectiveness.
Participating in grooming sessions to fully understand initiatives, technical features, and business features.
Developing comprehensive test strategies and creating suitable test harnesses.
Creating and documenting various test cases using automated methods.
Actively contributing and participating in all agile ceremonies.
Collaborating with the Development team to capture test scenarios and objects.
Ensuring proper version control and configuration management of all test objects and environments.
Educating new employees on our Quality program standards
Requirements
Job Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree.
5-8 years of experience in a customer-facing team environment.
5-8 years of experience in documenting test plans, actual results, identified issues, and steps to replicate accessibility findings.
4 years' experience in test automation (using Selenium, TestNG with Java, SQL, API Testing, Load and Performance Testing).
3 years' experience developing automation frameworks.
2 years' experience working with CI/CD pipeline (using Jenkins/GitHub Actions).
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Proven ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
Ability to coach and motivate others with high influencing skills.
High energy and drive to accomplish goals, meet deadlines, and find solutions.
