Description

We are looking for a Senior Litigation Paralegal with defense experience to join our team in Tempe, Arizona. This role is central to our boutique litigation law firm client. The successful candidate will be involved in a variety of tasks, including case management, research, drafting pleadings, and handling discovery and trial prep.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize case management software to maintain and update case details

• Conduct comprehensive legal research using LexisNexis and other resources

• Prepare and draft contracts, legal documents, and other paperwork

• Administration and management of claims and complaints

• Ensure all documentation is accurately drafted and filed

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data management and tracking

• Prepare and deliver briefings to attorneys and other team members

• Assist in the management of civil litigation cases

• Maintain a strong understanding of our management system and processes

• Provide support in all aspects of our litigation practice

Requirements

• Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat, Case Management Software, LexisNexis, Management System, and Microsoft Excel

• Ability to Draft Pleadings and handle Civil Litigation matters from intake through settlement / trial

• At least 3 years of experience as a Paralegal

• Superior organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

• Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

• Bachelor's degree in law or related field is preferred

• Paralegal certification is a plus
