Description
We're hiring a detail-oriented (Hybrid) Cost Accountant to manage financial operations within a manufacturing division. From conducting monthly financial close activities to collaborating with cross-functional teams on cost analysis and inventory management, this role offers a diverse range of responsibilities in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct monthly financial close activities for inventory-based transactions across multiple organizations and factories.
Support new factory start-up activities, including accounting for non-recurring costs and training employees on cost details.
Prepare actual vs. plan analysis and various financial analyses related to manufacturing costs and inventory.
Investigate and resolve significant manufacturing variances to standard costs, budgets, and forecasts.
Set up new inventory items and maintain production bills of materials and cost updates.
Collaborate with teams to establish and maintain standard costs of inventory.
Support audits and resolve system-related issues.
Develop accounting flows for new business models.
Identify cost drivers and support forecasting models.
Assist with ad hoc requests from factory management.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
2+ years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in manufacturing or related industry.
Strong proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
