Robert Half Desktop Support Technician in the Dalles, Oregon
Description
Robert Half is looking for an Desktop Support Technician for a healthcare client in The Dalles, Oregon! This position is 100% onsite.
Duration: 4-month contract with the potential for extension
Schedule: Monday-Friday (8am-5pm)
Location: 100% onsite in The Dalles, Oregon
Responsibilities:
Onsite and hands-on support for employee’s
Deploy computers for end users.
Troubleshoot end-user support items such as laptops, desktops, printers, scanners, mobile/smart phones related to desktop infrastructure, in accordance with department standards and security policies.
Assist with users’ accounts password resets, account creation/deletion through active directory and Office 365.
Maintain communication with users on incidences through ticketing system until completion.
Install/upgrade new company supported software to users.
Track inventory of IT assets.
Requirements
2-3 years IT desktop support experience.
Proven experience in supporting Windows OS and/or Mac OS.
Hands-on support experience with hardware like network and local printers.
Knowledge of software troubleshooting.
Proficient with Active Directory: user account management (building out new hires and terminating users).
Assists Network Engineers with installation of software and hardware.
Experience supporting Microsoft Office 365 experience.
Strong understanding of Office365/Azure AD.
CompTIA A+ or similar certification.
Strong prioritization skills and ability to balance multiple tasks successfully.
Solid understanding of desktop computing hardware, software, and networking.
