Description
Our established client in the Woodlands has a Operations Finance Manager opening. This position will play a key role within the company's finance department that focuses on overseeing and managing financial operations related to the company's day-to-day activities. What you get to do everyday;
Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and budgets for the operations department. Provide accurate financial analysis and reporting to support decision-making processes.
Cost Management: Monitor and control operational costs, ensuring adherence to budgetary guidelines. Identify areas of cost reduction and operational efficiency improvement.
Financial Reporting: Prepare regular financial statements, performance reports, and variance analysis. Present financial information to senior management and other stakeholders.
Cash Flow Management: Monitor and manage cash flow, including cash forecasting, working capital management, and capital expenditure planning.
Operational Performance Measurement: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the financial performance of operational processes. Analyze operational data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Financial Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations, company policies, and accounting standards. Collaborate with internal and external auditors during financial audits.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process automation and efficiency enhancements within the operations finance function. Streamline financial processes and systems to optimize workflow and increase accuracy.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with various departments, such as operations, supply chain, and sales, to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making. Act as a business partner to operational teams.
Team Management: Lead and manage a team of finance professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and performance evaluations. Foster a collaborative and results-driven work environment.
Continuous Learning and Professional Development: Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes related to operations finance. Pursue professional development opportunities to enhance financial knowledge and skills.

Requirements
Bachelors in Accounting or Finance
5+ years in a Finance Manager capacity, Manufacturing experience
Financial Modeling versed
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong understanding of budgeting & forecasting
