Description
Our reputable client is seeking a Property Accountant to join the company. The Property Accountant should have strong proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and property-specific systems, as well as experience in accounting and property management. This is the role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced work environment that requires the ability to balance multiple responsibilities.
Your responsibilities
Prepare complex journal entries and account reconciliations
Support efforts around internal controls, including implementation, maintenance, and adherence
Report on a variety of financial data after analyzing and coordinating
Prepare financial statements and reporting packages
Assemble income statement and balance sheet analyses monthly for management reporting
Maintain reconciliation, depreciation and fixed-asset ledger
Maintain capital lease and monthly payment schedules

Requirements
Command of Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills
Must be detail-oriented and have strong organizational skills
Sound understanding of industry specific accounting software
Multi-Location or Multi-Entity Accounting preferred
Experience in accounting, real estate accounting, or property accounting preferred
Bachelors degree in accounting, finance or a related field is required
