Robert Half Sr. Financial Analyst in the Woodlands, Texas

Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Financial Analyst in the Energy/Natural Resources industry. Located in Houston, Texas, this role will require a strong understanding of financial planning, budgeting, cost analysis, and forecasting. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing various data mining techniques and managing ERP solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Implement and optimize ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning solutions

• Conduct financial planning and analysis (FP& A) to support strategic decision-making

• Oversee budget processes and manage CapEx

• Utilize CRM and data mining techniques to support business objectives

• Execute accounting functions and expense reporting in line with company policies

• Conduct cost analysis and cost reduction analysis to identify areas for financial improvement

• Assist in forecasting and modeling financial outcomes

• Perform expense analysis to ensure efficient use of resources.

Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Financial Analyst, preferably in the Energy/Natural Resources industry.

• Proficiency in CapEx, CRM, Data Mining Techniques, and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning.

• Thorough understanding of Accounting Functions, Budget Processes, and Expense Reporting.

• Solid experience in Finance, Forecasting & Modeling, Cost Analysis, and Cost Reduction Analysis.

• Proven skill in Expense Analysis and Financial Planning & Analysis (FP& A).

• Strong analytical abilities and decision-making skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field is required.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills.

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.

• Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity.

• Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.

• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the specified country.

• Willingness to occasionally travel for work-related activities.

• Familiarity with industry regulations and guidelines.
