Robert Half Treasury Analyst in the Woodlands, Texas
Description
We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Treasury Analyst based in The Woodlands, Texas. The successful candidate will be instrumental in managing various financial operations, including processing payments, maintaining compliance with internal controls, and administering credit card programs.
Responsibilities:
• Efficiently process daily payments, including checks, wire transfers (both domestic and international), and ACH transfers.
• Collaborate with AP/AR/back-office group for resolving payment inquiries.
• Conduct research and provide prompt responses to all business and bank-related inquiries.
• Prepare necessary documentation for the opening and closing of bank accounts and updating account signatories.
• Review and approve new SAP vendor setups.
• Administer the credit card programs.
• Maintain compliance with internal controls and assist with responding to requests from both internal and external audit teams.
• Use PC and/or ERP systems and software to prepare reports, graphs, and charts of developed data.
• Reconcile SAP cash clearing accounts for electronic payments and bank statement posting.
• Carry out other duties as assigned to ensure the smooth operation of the Treasury Department.
Requirements
• Proficiency in utilizing SAP for financial management and bookkeeping.
• Experience with banking software for streamlining financial transactions and banking operations.
• Expertise in using Bloomberg Terminal for accessing financial data, news, and analytics.
• Familiarity with Concur for efficient expense management and reporting.
• Strong skills in data processing, with the ability to handle large volumes of financial data accurately.
• Comprehensive knowledge of accounting functions, including financial reporting, auditing, and tax preparation.
• Experience with automated clearing house (ACH) operations for securing and automating electronic payments.
• In-depth understanding of banking operation, including regulatory compliance, risk management, and customer service.
• Proven skills in capital management, including investment strategies, budgeting, and financial forecasting.
• Ability to manage and track cash activity, including cash flow statements, transaction tracking, and financial reporting.
