Robert Half Payroll/ HR Assistant in Tiffin, Ohio
Description
We are offering a unique opportunity to join our team in the non-profit industry, located in Tiffin, Ohio. The job function involves being a Payroll Clerk with a focus on processing payroll and assisting with HR tasks. This role offers a contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Assist with the processing of payroll on a bi-weekly basis.
• Aid in the recruitment process by posting jobs and preparing offer letters.
• Assist with onboarding new hires and ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed.
• Monitor onboarding tasks on the Paylocity system.
• Respond to and manage incoming inquiries in the HR inbox.
• Help integrate the finance system with Paylocity.
• Assist with check processing and other accounting functions.
• Use various accounting software systems
• Maintain accurate records of accounts payable and benefit functions.
• Work with the team to ensure all tasks are completed in a timely manner.
Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required
• Experience in ADP - Financial Services is essential
• Familiarity with Ceridian software will be advantageous
• Knowledge of IBM AS/400 system will be beneficial
• Proficiency in Kronos Timekeeping System is mandatory
• Experience in About Time software will be preferred
• Understanding of Accounting Functions is necessary
• Expertise in handling Accounts Payable (AP) is required
• Familiarity with Benefit Functions will be advantageous
• Experience in Check Processing is necessary
• Proficiency in using Paylocity software is preferred.
