Robert Half International Full Charge Bookkeeper in TIGARD, Oregon


Robert Half has partnered with a SW Portland firm who is looking to fill a direct hire Full Charge Bookkeeper role. They are seeking an individual who can manage full cycle A/P, payroll, bank reconciliations, journal entries, month-end close, cash flow, financial statement preparation, QuickBooks Pro consultations with a multitude of clients, audit accounts, and more. What you get to do every day:

  • Ready monthly reconciliations, financial statements and all supporting documents for accountants

  • Log budget transfers

  • Complete Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable

  • Draw up subcontractor 1099's, and any other IRS year-end requirement

  • Catalog sales tax records and create and file quarterly payments

  • Direct monthly accounting close

  • Experienced with credit card management and reconciliation

  • Clarify business license and gross receipts

  • Form cash account journal entries including loans, taxes, bank fees, 401(k) deductions, etc.

  • Provide cash flow projections, as needed


  • Detailed and have the ability work independently

  • 4+ years of related experience with significant accounting experience, bookkeeping required

  • Commitment and abilities to meet critical business deadlines

  • Proven analytical skills with ability to implement solutions and vendor management experience with good organizational skills

  • Excellent written, verbal and social communication skills highly desired

  • Self-driven motivator who takes initiative on projects with a strong ability to understand and solve creative challenges

  • Strong time management and organizational skills

  • QuickBooks Pro experience required

  • Foundational knowledge in account reconciliation

  • Solid understanding of Full Charge Bookkeeping

  • Demonstrated knowledge of Account Records

  • Earlier work involving 10 Key Accounting

  • Previous experience working with general ledger

  • Good understanding of Adjusting Journal Entries

  • Accounts Payable (AP) experience

  • Code Invoices experience highly preferred

  • Practical knowledge of Client Relations

  • Background working with customer invoices

  • Adeptness in Accounts Receivable (AR)

  • Proficiency in Quickbooks Online

  • General familiarity with Process Vendor Invoices

  • Comfortable working in a changing and dynamic environment
