Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in Toledo, Ohio. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining the financial accuracy of our operations, contributing to our growth and expansion by ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and accurate financial reporting. You will be working closely with various teams, managing accounts payable functions, and playing a pivotal role in system migrations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the accuracy of our general ledger and carry out month-end close processes, which includes the preparation of financial statements.

• Collaborate with various teams on analyses and special projects, providing valuable financial insights to support decision-making.

• Manage the accounts payable function, ensuring the timely and accurate processing of invoices, vendor payments, and expense reports.

• Play a significant role in the migration to a new system, overseeing data migration and system implementation to ensure a smooth transition.

• Prepare schedules and documentation to support the annual audit process, ensuring compliance with audit requirements and deadlines.

• Implement audit recommendations to enhance internal controls and improve audit readiness and efficiency.

• Develop and refine workpapers in alignment with GAAP standards, forming a solid foundation for accurate financial reporting. Requirements • Must have proficiency in Balance Sheet Reconciliation.

• Familiarity with General Ledger management is required.

• Capable of handling and preparing Journal Entries.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must.

• Experience in Month End Close procedures is essential.

• Thorough understanding and application of GAAP Accounting principles is required.

• Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CPA Eligible.

• Knowledge of Sage Accounting Software is a prerequisite.

• Familiarity with Traverse CS - Client Server is beneficial.

• Acumatica software knowledge is a plus.
