Description
Position: AR/ Collections Specialist
Robert Half has partnered with a global manufacturing firm that seeks an Accounts Receivable Specialist to streamline cash flow by identifying and managing outstanding balances. Your role includes credit assessments and limit setting, customer relationship management, and compliance with our credit policies.
Responsibilities:
Manage collections process on accounts
Analyzing the creditworthiness of current and potential customers
Enforcing company credit policies during credit decisions
Building robust relationships with internal teams and clients
Providing insightful accounts receivable and credit risk reports
Improving credit procedures for efficiency and optimized cash flow
Qualifications:
Prior credit analysis and collection management experience
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and an ERP software
Excellent analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
Can manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting
The position includes a blend of in-office and remote work (2 days per week) in Tolland County. The package includes outstanding benefits, access to a state-of-the-art office, and a promoting positive work culture.

Requirements
• Demonstrated experience in Accounts Receivable (AR) in a corporate environment
• Proficiency in Commercial Collections, Credit Analysis
• Proficiency in MS Office, specifically MS Excel
• Proficiency in using an ERP software
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Ability to maintain confidential information
• Ability to handle high volume of work and meet deadlines
• Good customer service skills
