HYBRID (3 days on site) Are you looking for a Senior Financial Analyst opportunity in the Amusement/Recreation Services/Entertainment field? If you're available for short-term contract / temporary work, this could be the job for you. Candidates who can be our client's primary point of contact for all financial issues, including project spending, planning, forecasting and annual budgeting will be preferred for this Senior Financial Analyst consultant role. To succeed in this Senior Financial Analyst consultant role, you will need to be comfortable performing analysis of the operating results and financial performance of core business segments supporting public reporting requirements, and providing decision-making support for future company investments. This Senior Financial Analyst position is located in Burbank, California.

Collaborate with Functional leads to execute management reporting, accounting and compliance advisement, and coordinate alignment of operational initiatives
Create sustainable business, operational, and financial processes widely understood by all necessary teams
Implement financial analysis as part of business performance optimization
Evaluate financial results, summarize key trends, assess current and future business risks, and communicate critical updates all in the course of preparing monthly and quarterly reporting to senior leadership
Advance existing management reporting - analyze financial results, distill and synthesize key issues, communicate integral updates to senior management
Track financial results with greater accuracy and discretion by working with Operating and Accounting to drive improved management reporting
Cultivate positive relationships with key business partners and Finance/Accounting leadership
Handle ad-hoc analysis and presentation requests
Requirements - CPA/MBA preferred
Required education: BA/BS degree in Finance, Business, or a related field
Ability to apply critical thinking and critical decision making skills with management
Active problem-solver who listens for customer cues and actively resolves problems with grace and integrity
Skilled at process reengineering and optimization
3+ years experience in operations finance required
Expertise in Microsoft PowerPoint
Excellent verbal, written, and social skills
Skilled in working cross functionally across teams and gaining favor of key decision makers
A strong ability to work with office systems, reporting software, databases and other BI tools recommended
Budgeting experience preferred
Budget forecasting experience
Foundational knowledge in SAP
Experience with Microsoft Excel
