Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounting Clerk in the manufacturing industry, based in Torrance, California. As an Accounting Clerk, you will be responsible for maintaining financial records, reconciling bank statements, processing journal entries, and other duties as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Support the uploading of non-automatic sales entries and payments to the company’s enterprise system.

• Reconcile revenue bank accounts and Cash/Check clearing accounts.

• Prepare accurate and appropriate responses to disputes.

• Research and clear outstanding commission checks in the Accounting system.

• Keep management updated on outstanding issues for month-end reporting.

• Perform other related duties as needed and assigned by the department.

• Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently.

• Maintain accurate customer credit records.

• Monitor customer credit accounts and take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments.

Skills:

• Proficiency in QuickBooks. Requirements • Applicant must have a minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent.

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field would be preferred.

• Prior experience in a similar role in the Manufacturing industry is highly desirable.

• Proficiency in QuickBooks is a mandatory requirement for this role.

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.

• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

• Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information.

• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
