For an immediate job opening, Robert Half Finance is seeking a skilled and ambitious Accounting Manager for an on-the-rise, growing Hospitality company. In this position, you will be responsible for leading daily operations, including maintaining the general ledger system, preparing and/or reviewing appropriate ledger entries and reconciliations, preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, assisting with regulatory reporting as applicable, and related duties. The ideal candidate should be able to establish and scale company accounting and finance operations. What you get to do every single day

• Assist in the preparation of GAAP financial statements, including document preparation, data analysis, integrity validation, and reconciliation processes

• Play a key role in system and process design, data migration, testing, training, and go-forward system administration of NetSuite Financials

• Team up with FP& A and accounting management to develop relevant, timely reports on financial data analytics like the monthly flash report, key financial metrics, and actual spend against budgets/outlook

• Prepare various technical accounting analyses, policies, and procedures

• Encourage and manage the full accounting team performance so that close deadlines are met

• Provide regular review and analysis of balance sheets and income statement accounts owned by the Senior Accountant

• Working knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is valuable

Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or equivalent degree and/or experience

• General ledger experience

• Foundational knowledge in financial statements consolidation

• Strong familiarity with financial statement preparation

• Expertise in month end closings

• Advanced credentials such as a Masters of Business Administration / MBA or Certified Public Accountant / CPA are preferred

• Demonstrated technology and analytical abilities

• Creative problem solver who anticipates risks and opportunities and maintains a vision for continuous improvement

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer service mindset

• Working knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is valuable

• 5+ years of recent relevant financial experience
