Description We are in search of a meticulous and dedicated Financial Analyst to join our team in the automotive industry, based in Torrance, California. As a Financial Analyst, you will be tasked with preparing comprehensive financial reports, ensuring compliance with financial policies, conducting monthly variance analysis, and collaborating with various departments. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed financial reports to support management decision-making.

• Ensure compliance with budget constraints and financial policies.

• Conduct monthly variance analysis to identify trends, deviations, and opportunities.

• Utilize Accounting Software Systems and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning systems for financial data management and reporting.

• Collaborate with various departments to collect financial data and provide insights.

• Support the financial planning and analysis (FP& A) team with ad hoc analyses and reporting requirements.

• Develop and maintain complex Excel spreadsheets to streamline data analysis and reporting processes.

• Use data visualization tools to create dynamic dashboards and data visualizations.

• Process and monitor customer credit applications and maintain accurate customer credit records.

• Take appropriate actions to collect delinquent payments from customer credit accounts. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is a must.

• Experience with Acomba software is a requirement.

• Familiarity with Cl Programming is desirable.

• Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is essential.

• Proficiency in IBM AS/400 is required.

• Experience with About Time software is preferred.

• Understanding of basic Accounting Functions is expected.

• Expertise in managing Accounts Payable (AP) is vital.

• Experience in handling Accounts Receivable (AR) is important.

• Familiarity with Check Processing is needed.
