Description
Job Description:
The IT Project Manager will establish and implement project management procedures and methodologies, ensuring projects are delivered timely, within budget, meeting high-quality standards, and align with customers' expectations and business objectives.
Daily tasks include:
Overseeing teams throughout all phases of development cycle.
Assembling project plans and directing as well as monitoring work efforts on a regular basis.
Coordinating communication with all enterprise areas that influence the scope, budget, risk, and resources of work effort.
Leading meetings, gaining consensus, and distributing meeting minutes.
Managing vendor relationships.
Evaluating complex risks, leading reviews, and implementing risk mitigation and action plans.
Managing multiple cross-functional projects of high complexity.
Providing status reports regarding project milestones, deliverable dependencies, risks, and issues.
Controlling project cost and schedule.
Demonstrating effective communication and proven leadership skills.
Prioritizing and balancing multiple projects.
The successful candidate will manage the implementation of several multipart system projects.
Requirements
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or another related field.
Project Management PMP certification or successful completion of recognized project management curriculum is preferred.
Strong presentation skills and ability to provide project updates to all levels of the organization.
Demonstrated ability to manage and oversee large, complex, diverse, and strategic projects.
Advanced understanding of various project management disciplines (e.g., waterfall, agile/scrum).
Ability to demonstrate leadership and drive results and possess interpersonal skills.
Experience in Logistics/Supply chain preferred.
Experience in the automotive industry is beneficial.
Familiarity with Clarity is a plus.
Proficiency in MS Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
