Position Overview: Join an innovative team as a Technical Project Manager for our Customer Data Platform (CDP). This role is essential in enabling and scaling 1:1 customer engagement by creating a unified customer view. This initiative is pivotal in driving the digital revolution, fostering customer loyalty, retention, and revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Large-Scale CDP Programs: Oversee and manage the implementation of a Customer Data Platform, focusing on Identity Resolution (IDR) and related projects.

  • Project Delivery: Execute projects that involve:

  • Customer data unification using deterministic and probabilistic logic

  • Development of ownership foundations, dealer relationships, suppression, demographics, and preferences

  • Privacy management

  • Management of external business vendors

  • Project Lifecycle Management: Engage in a multi-year contract involving delivery throughout the overall project lifecycle.

  • Project Management Processes: Establish and implement project management processes and methodologies to ensure timely, within-budget, and high-quality project delivery.

  • Team Leadership: Assemble project plans, direct and monitor daily work efforts, identify resource needs, perform quality reviews, and escalate issues appropriately.

  • Milestone Tracking: Track key project milestones, adjust project plans and resources as necessary, and prepare/present project updates to senior leadership.

  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Communicate with all areas of the enterprise to manage project scope, budget, risk, and resources.

  • Complex Project Management: Manage one or more high-complexity, cross-functional projects.

  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed project documentation, including meeting minutes, action items, issue lists, and risk management plans.



  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

  • Certifications: Project Management certification or successful completion of a recognized project management curriculum preferred.

  • Experience:

  • 7-10 years of IT work experience

  • 5+ years of project management experience

  • Extensive experience in leading and implementing customer data platforms and customer-centric programs

  • Technical Skills:

  • Advanced understanding of complex project budgets, program and project plans, and resource management

  • Strong experience with Agile, SCRUM, SAFE delivery methodologies, and Jira/Confluence

  • Proficient in managing software package implementation projects/programs, including SaaS frameworks

  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to provide clear guidance to technical teams and stakeholders.

  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to manage high-complexity, cross-functional projects, and take personal ownership and responsibility for all deliverables.

  • Additional Skills: Experience with RFP and vendor selection, Lean Business Case creation, and Quarterly Business Review presentations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Industry Experience: Background in the automotive industry with familiarity with automotive products and related business processes.

  • Digital Platform Experience: Experience delivering consumer-facing websites, digital platforms, or services involving complex data, transactions, or integrations.

  • Tool Proficiency: Familiarity with Jira/Confluence for managing project artifacts, user stories, test cases, etc.
