Robert Half SharePoint Developer in Torrance, California

Description

We are looking for a Software Developer to join our team in the automotive industry based in Torrance, California.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop an enterprise training catalog on SharePoint platform in a global environment.

• Develop a comprehensive catalog of Microsoft and other training programs for various skill levels.

• Review and select the most appropriate online training courses based on skill level for Microsoft and other products.

• Develop SharePoint components responsive design and mobile device channels including web parts, apps, pages, and services using Visual Studio and SharePoint Designer.

• Provide technical expertise and insights in identifying, evaluating, and developing effective procedures and systems requirements that meet business requirements.

• Create functional design documents, translate the business requirements into system requirements, and create a prototype of the recommended solution.

• Understand and implement QA procedures, Code review, Estimating, Peer review, Impact Analysis, Root cause analysis, etc.

• Responsible for providing technical assistance, problem resolutions, general help desk support, and training for clients.

Requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, I.T. related field or equivalent.

  • Experience in SharePoint application development with hands-on experience with SharePoint 2013 and newer.

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft products and familiarity with other enterprise solutions, i.e., Adobe, AWS, Azure, etc.

  • Recent experience implementing SharePoint 2019 and newer projects.

  • Technically savvy with a comprehensive understanding of the Office 365 suite of products.

  • Ability to provide thought leadership on best practices for architectural design and a thorough understanding of enterprise application integration involving Business Process and Forms, Enterprise Content Management, and Portals.

  • Ability to adhere to project timelines and technical deliverables, and exceed client expectations with quality technical solutions.

  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, use good judgment, creativity, persistence, multitasking ability, and can meet tight deadlines.
