Robert Half Sr. Financial Analyst in Torrance, California

Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Financial Analyst in the heart of the automotive industry, based in Torrance, California. The Sr. Financial Analyst will be instrumental in managing financial reporting, budgeting, and complex problem-solving tasks. You will also have the chance to work closely with upper-level management and executives, providing an excellent opportunity to enhance your detail oriented skills and experience.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process financial data and maintain records, using various software data management tools such as SAP and Oracle.

• Perform cost accounting and budget management tasks, drawing on your expertise in accounting functions and budget processes.

• Engage in financial reporting and budgeting activities, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

• Utilize your skills in data mining techniques to solve complex problems and provide meaningful insights for decision making.

• Review and manage journal entries at month-end, ensuring all financial data is accurately recorded.

• Liaise with upper-level management and executives, providing them with timely and accurate financial reports and KPIs.

• Leverage your experience with business systems and CRM to enhance financial data management processes.

• Utilize your knowledge of capital management to guide financial decisions.

• Employ your skills in auditing to ensure adherence to financial regulations and standards.

• Work overtime as needed, especially during month-end activities, to ensure all financial tasks are completed on time. Requirements • Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the Automotive Industry.

• Proficient in Business Systems, Confluence, CRM, and Crystal Reports.

• Strong knowledge of Data Mining Techniques and About Time software.

• Comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions and Auditing.

• Experience in Budget Processes and Capital Management.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.

• Knowledge of financial regulations and legislation.

• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work.

• Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to work independently.
