Description

We are currently seeking a Tax Sr. - Corporate to join our team based in Torrance, California. The chosen candidate will be responsible for preparing and filing various tax returns, staying informed about changes to tax laws, maintaining accurate records of tax filings, working with internal departments, and assisting with tax audits.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the preparation and filing of a diverse range of tax returns, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

• Stay informed about changes to tax laws and regulations that could affect the company’s operations and adapt strategies accordingly.

• Ensure the maintenance of accurate records of tax filings, payments, and supporting documentation.

• Work effectively with internal departments such as finance and accounting to gather necessary information for tax filings.

• Provide necessary assistance during tax audits, including providing required documentation and responding to inquiries from tax authorities in a detail-oriented manner.

• Work with external vendors or tax advisors as needed to ensure compliance and accurate tax filing.

• Use tools such as CCH ProSystem Fx, Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, and SAP S/4HANA for efficient tax management and reporting.

• Ensure corporate income tax and corporate tax compliance while performing ad hoc reporting tasks as needed.

Requirements • Proficiency in CCH ProSystem Fx is necessary

• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel required

• Prior experience with QuickBooks is essential

• Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA is a must

• Ability to perform Ad Hoc Reporting is needed

• High level of understanding of Compliance is crucial

• Experience in Compliance Audit is required

• Knowledge of Corporate Income Tax is essential

• Expertise in Corporate Tax Compliance is mandatory
