Description
Robert Half is seeking a skilled and motivated SQL Developer to join our dynamic team. As a SQL Developer, you will play a vital role in designing, developing, and maintaining efficient and reliable SQL databases and applications. Your expertise in database management and query optimization will contribute to the successful implementation of our data-driven projects. This position is on a hybrid basis out of Towson, MD.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
5+ years of proven work experience as a SQL Developer.
Strong proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational database management systems (RDBMS), such as Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL.
Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions.
Solid understanding of database design principles and normalization.
Experience in database performance tuning and optimization.
Familiarity with data modeling and ER diagrams.
Knowledge of database security concepts and best practices.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Experience with data warehousing and ETL processes is a plus.
Certification in database technologies (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate) is a plus.
