Description Accountemps is in need of an ambitious Operations Processor who enjoys new challenges and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Do you possess great time management skills? Do you like working with lending or commercial and/or consumer loan operations? You may be the ideal candidate we're searching for. The primary responsibility of the Operations Processor is to book loans into the banking platform system and process all essential items required for commercial and consumer day-to-day loan processing. This short-term temporary-to-full-time employment opportunity is based in the Towson, Maryland area.

What you get to do every day

  • Assembles outgoing wires and cashier's checks

  • Preserves customer confidence by keeping mortgage loan information confidential

  • Operate payment corrections and modify billing statements

  • Guarantees information remains accessible by sorting, organizing, and filing documents

  • Sorts department-specific spreadsheets, reports and reviews monthly scrub reports

  • Edits payoff letters and department invoices

  • Routes payments, advances and payoffs

  • Tweaks codes, status dates and loan information for reporting when needed

  • Become informed in many loan programs and corresponding computer system codes

  • Maintains status and information within processing software system

  • Sorts and returns verification of mortgage requests

  • Screen email, voice mail and other communication and follow up correctly

  • Certify new loans, loan renewals, extensions and modifications into database

  • In charge of reports, monthly payments and accrual adjustments Requirements - At least 1+ years of experience with lending or commercial and/or consumer loan operations

  • Ideal candidate should possess knowledge of word processing and spreadsheets

    • Familiarity with financial institution platforms
  • Tax Preparation experience

  • Database management experience required

  • Data entry experience highly desired

  • Foundational knowledge in Microsoft Excel

  • Deep understanding of scheduling

    • Knowledge of document management, process transformation, and workflow automation programs/r/n/r/n - 1 year mortgage experience is preferred for this role
