Robert Half Desktop Support Analyst in Travelers Rest, South Carolina
Description We are looking for a Desktop Support Analyst to join our team, offering a short term contract employment opportunity. In this role, you will provide technical assistance to our team, focusing on computer systems, hardware, and software. You will be based in Travelers Rest, South Carolina, 29690, United States, working within the IT industry.
Responsibilities
• Provide first-level contact and convey resolutions to customer issues
• Track, route and redirect problems to correct resources
• Update customer data and produce activity reports
• Walk customers through problem-solving process
• Utilize excellent customer service skills and exceed customers’ expectations
• Ensure proper recording, documentation and closure of trouble tickets
• Recommend procedure modifications or improvements
• Preserve and grow knowledge of help desk procedures, products and services
• Utilize active directory knowledge to reset passwords and handle user accounts
• Provide support for Windows OS and Apple Devices, ensuring their effective operation. Requirements • Proficiency in Computer Hardware, including the ability to troubleshoot and repair various hardware components.
• Experience with Active Directory, including user and group administration.
• Familiarity with Apple Devices, including setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to perform Password Reset procedures for various systems and platforms.
• Solid knowledge of Windows OS, including installation, configuration, and system restoration. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
