Robert Half Software Developer: III (Senior)- in Trenton, New Jersey
Description We are initiating the search for a Software Developer III (Senior) to become part of our team. The role involves developing software solutions, coding independently, and understanding project scope. This job is based in Trenton, New Jersey, United States, and offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Independently code based on source to target mappings
• Navigate and create Unix scripts as required by the project
• Exhibit advanced SQL skills, including complex PL/SQL coding
• Understand and work with dimensional model and data warehousing concepts
• Work with SCD logic in the context of a data warehousing environment
• Utilize Informatica MDM tool, if available
• Resolve issues and delays by escalating to the appropriate leads
• Maintain clear communication for clarifications regarding the scope of work
• Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines
• Work with Snowflake and Python, if required. Requirements • Proven experience as a Senior Software Developer
• Extensive knowledge of SQL, Python, R Code, Unix Scripting, Informatica, and Snowflake
• Experience with Data Warehousing and Dimensional design
• Understanding of budget and hiring processes
• Proficiency in Spanish language
• Ability to interpret and analyze data
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Ability to work independently and manage one’s time
