Located in the Trevose Area, Pennsylvania, this Title Clearing Clerk role will be a full-time opening. In this position, the Title Clearing Clerk will:

Pull daily Report for assigned files.

Send out JotForm (secure online form for buyers and sellers to share information)

Request lender information

Send Buyer Authorization

Download Searches

Calculate Title Premiums for Standard and Enhanced Policy

Review Title and request all needed documents

Clear as many Title Issues prior to sending out Title

Distribute documents to Listing Agent, Conveyancer, if known, and Selling Agent, Buyer, and our Conveyancer

Prepare CPL & send all necessary Title Documents to Lender and also confirm closing date

Explain the difference between the Standard and Enhanced Policies

Order Indemnity when needed

Prepare CK Certified files

Handle Over Limits Approvals

Update Tax Cert if needed

Run Domestic Relations if not done already

Make any changes to the file & record in file notes

Responsible for ordering Judgment Searches for any additional parties added after handoff

Follow up with all parties that the required documents are in

Review required documents and make necessary changes to Title documents

If listing agent does not handle conveyancing, WE WILL

Checks for Cert fees for Water, Sewer, etc must be submitted to Opening Team

Prepare Prelim CD for Lender

Requirements - Self-starter, ability to identify issues and resolve problems

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills (verbal, written, and listening)

  • Commitment and abilities to meet critical business deadlines

  • Strong attention to detail

    • 2+ years of related experience- Demonstrated ability in exemplary analytical, quantitative and social skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic and constantly changing company environment

    • Considerable accounting experience, including as a Bookkeeper preferred
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills

  • Demonstrated knowledge of private real estate

  • Deep understanding of Title Clearing

  • General familiarity with real estate

  • Title Escrow experience

  • Conveyancer experience preferred

  • Title real estate experience highly preferred

  • JotForm experience desired

  • Practical knowledge of residential real estate

  • Title Companies experience

  • Adeptness in Preliminary Title Reports

  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and vendor management skills
