Description Robert Half is seeking an ambitious, experienced Accounting Manager for an immediate opening at a dynamic, progressive company. As an Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for leading daily operations such as preparing and/or reviewing appropriate ledger entries and reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger system, preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, assisting with regulatory reporting as applicable, and related duties. Ideally, you will be able to establish and scale company accounting and finance operations. Key responsibilities
Possess a thorough knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
Regularly review and inspect balance sheets and income statement accounts owned by the Senior Accountant
Collaborate with FP& A and accounting management to develop relevant and timely reports on financial data analytics like the monthly flash report, key financial metrics, and actual spend against budgets/outlook
Ensure close deadlines are met by encouraging and managing the accounting team performance during the closing process
Assist in the implementation of NetSuite Financials, which includes designing systems and processes, migrating data, testing, training, and administrating
Assemble a variety of technical accounting policies, procedures, and analyses
Assist in the preparation of GAAP financial statements, including document preparation, data analysis, integrity validation, and reconciliation processes Requirements - Demonstrated technology and analytical abilities
Customer service oriented communication skills that allow for pleasant and beneficial interactions with all customers
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or equivalent degree and/or experience
General familiarity with Microsoft Excel
Command of Cash Flow Analysis
Practical knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP)
Accounts Receivable (AR) experience highly preferred
Cash Flow Reports experience
Cash Flow Analysis experience
Month end closings experience desired
Background working with general ledger
Strong familiarity with Cash Flow Forecasts
Adeptness in Cash Flow Forecasts
Demonstrated knowledge of manufacturing
Critical thinking, problem solving, ability to work independently
7+ years of recent relevant financial experience
Working knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is valuable
Advanced credentials such as a Masters of Business Administration / MBA or Certified Public Accountant / CPA are preferred
