Description Robert Half has an opening for a Senior Financial Analyst in the Trevose, Pennsylvania area with an immediate start date. This role will allow you to directly be involved in the coordination of various planning cycles (annual planning, quarterly forecasts and monthly outlooks), while providing strategic analyses and recommendations. You will render variance analysis of bookings, revenues and expenses, clearly explaining the business reasons for variances and adjusting the outlook models to reflect operational adjustments. The main tasks of this Senior Financial Analyst position will be driving world class strategic and financial planning methods, developing rolling forecast processes to ensure resources are leveraged with maximum effectiveness, and building long-range operating plans to support business initiatives. Cultivating data-driven planning processes and improving upon monthly and quarterly reporting will be some of your responsibilities as Senior Financial Analyst. Your responsibilities in this role
Decipher and resolve internal and external drivers impacting performance and trending
Collect and observe forecasting reports
Cooperate closely with cross functional partners in Accounting and Operations to execute against plans
Authorize effective Business Intelligence (BI) to provide forward-looking insight and decision support
Determine performance to date and assess potential risks and opportunities
Demonstrate monthly reporting to business partners on financial results and actions required
Work together with senior executives on strategic deep dives by developing financial models and insights on topics such as: Retention forecasts, Campaign Planning & Tracking, return on investment of strategic investments, event tracking and execution, strategic resource allocation and prioritization
Join forces with Accounting on the monthly and quarterly financial close process
Monitor weekly, quarterly and annual Area/Segment-level Bookings and P& L forecasting
Watch monthly and quarterly performance through comparison of actuals versus expectations and enable business partners to handle their resources Requirements - 3+ years experience with advanced financial analysis, planning and budget controls required
- Ability to simplify complex problems and build solutions
Practical knowledge of Manufacturing Variance
Strong familiarity with Cost Variance
General familiarity with Manufacturing Setting
Foundational knowledge in COST-OF-GOODS
Adeptness in SAP
Experience with Standard Costing
Financial analysis experience preferred
Ad Hoc Financial Analysis experience
Demonstrated knowledge of SAP ERP
Manufacturing Environment experience highly preferred
Distinguished presentation skills
Deeply adept with financial reporting tools
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, MBA preferred
