Description Triad premier employer seeks an Accounting Manager to join their team. The Accounting Manager is responsible for the support of developing and maintaining accounting principles, practices and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statements, and the supervision of departmental Staff. This position addresses tight deadlines and a multitude of accounting activities including general ledger preparation, financial reporting, year-end audit preparation and the support of budget, and forecast activities. The client is looking for a leader who can manage and mentor a staff. The Accounting Manager will also have contact with senior-level positions which requires strong interpersonal communication skills both written and verbal. The position will provide the employee with valuable experience and exposure within the organization and position the employee for future career growth. Minimum 7 years of accounting experience (Public Accountancy experience highly desirable) required, manufacturing experience preferred. BS in Business with an emphasis in Accounting, advanced degree preferred and CPA or CMA in process or active a big plus .
