Are you a practical Accounting Manager with public accounting experience along with a CPA who has a knack for establishing and regulating an organization's accounting and finance procedures? This job will make you feel appreciated in your day-to-day work and reward you for your efforts. The ideal candidate for this Accounting Manager position with a burgeoning, innovative CPA firm can take charge of daily operations, such as preparing and/or reviewing appropriate ledger entries and reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger system, preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, Tax preparation and internal audit work along with assisting with regulatory reporting as applicable, and related duties. Key responsibilities
-Client accounting, tax returns and audit for local small businesses
Encourage and manage the full accounting team performance so that close deadlines are met
Organize a variety of technical accounting analyses, procedures, and policies
Periodically review and inspect the balance sheets and income statement accounts of Senior Accountants
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or equivalent degree and/or experience
Exceptional communication skills that provide the ability to interact with all levels of the organization with a high customer service orientation
Command of Individual Tax Return
Corporate Internal Audit experience highly desired
Strong familiarity with Corporate Tax Return
Partnership Tax Returns experience
Active CPA certification
5+ years of recent relevant financial experience
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Solid technology and analytical abilities
