Description
We are seeking a skilled BI Developer to join our Insights team. In this critical role, you will transform data into actionable insights, develop visual dashboards, and drive informed decision-making across the organization. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain Business Intelligence (BI) solutions, contributing to MOTOR’s data-driven initiatives and overall success.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Integration: Collaborate with data engineers to acquire, clean, and integrate data from various sources into our BI platforms.
Report and Dashboard Development: Create interactive, visually appealing reports and dashboards using BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) that provide valuable insights for stakeholders.
Data Modeling: Design and maintain data models, ensuring data accuracy and consistency for effective reporting and analytics.
Performance Optimization: Identify and implement performance improvements in BI solutions to enhance speed and efficiency.
Data Visualization: Develop intuitive visualizations that effectively communicate complex information to non-technical stakeholders.
Collaboration: Work closely with Data Scientists and Analysts to understand requirements and provide the necessary data infrastructure and tools.
Documentation: Document data sources, processes, and solutions to ensure knowledge sharing and maintainable systems.
Data Security and Compliance: Ensure data security, privacy, and compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., GDPR).
Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users, enabling effective use of BI tools.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's preferred).
Tableau Desktop Specialist certification with at least 3 years of hands-on experience working with Tableau.
Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a BI Developer or in a similar role.
Proficiency in BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
Strong experience in data modeling and querying to meet business requirements.
Strong SQL skills for data extraction and manipulation.
Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes (AWS preferred).
Excellent communication skills, with strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Knowledge of automotive industry data is a plus.
