Description Our client, a prominent company in the fintech and payments industry, is seeking an experienced Attorney to join their dynamic team.
Job Summary:
The Attorney will handle a wide array of legal matters including financial regulation, payment services, contract negotiations, providing strategic legal advice and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Responsibilities:
Provide legal expertise on a broad range of commercial and contract law matters Draft, review, and negotiate contracts related to fintech and payments services Collaborate with third-party developers and Independent Sales Organizations (ISO) Evaluate business strategies, identifying potential legal risks Ensure compliance with existing laws and regulations in the fintech and payments industry Develop internal policies to enforce compliance Collaborate with external counsel relating to specialized legal matters
Qualifications:
J.D. degree from an accredited law school Current license to practice law Minimum of 5 years' experience in a law firm or corporate legal department, with a focus on fintech and payments, and experience working with third-party developers and ISOs Exceptional communication and negotiation skills Sound judgment and decision-making abilities Full understanding of business sensitivities and confidentiality Familiarity with Microsoft Office and legal research software Requirements Case Management Software, LexisNexis, Management System, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Suites, Claim Administration, Communication, Complaint Handling, Customer Service, Documentation, Corporate & Commercial, Commercial Contracts, Commercial Law
