Description Robert Half is partnering with a well-respected law firm to find a talented Intellectual Property Legal Assistant.
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join a dynamic team and play a crucial role in safeguarding their clients' intellectual property.
About the Role:
In this role, you'll provide critical support to attorneys in various aspects of intellectual property law. Your responsibilities will include:
Patent Powerhouse: Assist with the preparation and filing of patent applications with the USPTO and other international offices.
Research Rockstar: Conduct thorough research to identify potential conflicts in patents and trademarks, ensuring ironclad protection for client innovations.
Communication Champion: Maintain clear communication with clients, keeping them informed throughout the IP process and addressing any questions they may have.
Filing Flier: Organize and meticulously manage client IP files, ensuring everything is readily accessible and facilitates efficient case management.
Drafting Dynamo: Assist in drafting legal documents related to IP matters, adhering to strict legal formatting standards.

Who You Are:
A highly organized individual with at least 2 years of experience as a Legal Assistant or in a related legal field.
(Bonus Points) Possess a strong understanding of intellectual property concepts, including patents, trademarks, and copyrights.
A research rockstar with a keen eye for detail and the ability to efficiently locate relevant information.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with a willingness to learn additional legal software (e.g., IP management platforms).
A team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys collaborating with diverse individuals.
