Robert Half Business Intelligence (BI) Consultant in Trumbull, Connecticut
Description We are in search of a Business Intelligence (BI) Consultant to join our team, located in TRUMBULL, Connecticut. This role revolves around the development and maintenance of scalable data pipelines and models, application of data science techniques, and collaboration with various teams. This contract role offers an opportunity to work in an environment that values innovation and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines to process large volumes of data from multiple sources.
• Develop and maintain data models that reflect key business processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement KPIs, dashboards, and reporting tools.
• Apply statistical methods and data science techniques to analyze complex datasets.
• Develop predictive models and machine learning algorithms to solve business problems and enhance decision-making processes.
• Partner with engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders to understand their data and analytics needs.
• Continuously explore new data science methodologies and tools to drive innovation.
• Identify opportunities to improve existing data processes, analytics tools, and data science methodologies.
• Implement data validation, testing, and documentation processes to ensure the reliability of analytics and data science outputs.
• Work closely with IT to ensure data infrastructure aligns with company goals and best practices. Requirements • Demonstrable experience with Atlassian Jira
• Proficiency in BusinessObjects Technologies
• Familiarity with Cognos Business Intelligence
• Strong skills in Data Visualization
• Experience with Maps API
• Proficiency in AB Testing
• Ability to conduct Ad Hoc Reporting
• Experience working in Agile Scrum environments
• Strong Analytics skills
• Solid understanding and experience with Business Intelligence (BI) Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
