Robert Half Payroll Specialist in Tualatin, Oregon
Description
We are seeking a Payroll Specialist to join our clients team in Tualatin, OR This role involves managing payroll operations, onboarding and offboarding employees, and administering benefits. You will also be expected to maintain accurate records and ensure all payroll procedures are carried out in accordance with company policies and regulations.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the payroll process for approximately 170 employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Conduct thorough audits of timesheets to verify accurate employee time tracking
• Manage the onboarding and offboarding process in the ADP system, ensuring a smooth transition for new and departing employees
• Administer benefits in accordance with company policies and legal requirements
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate employee records in the HRIS Payroll System
• Implement the full cycle payroll process, ensuring all phases are completed correctly and on time
• Provide cross training to new hires to ensure continuity of the payroll function
• Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as required, to ensure efficient and effective payroll operations.

Requirements
• Proficiency in using ADP - Payroll
• Extensive knowledge and experience in Full Cycle Payroll
• Proficiency in HRIS Payroll System
• Proven experience in Benefit Functions related to payroll
• Demonstrated experience in Onboarding
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Confidentiality and integrity
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
