Description

Patricia Carlile with Robert Half has an exciting opportunity for talented Senior Accountants! This role handles financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. Your responsibilities

  • Administer Ad-hoc projects as necessary

  • When working with business partners, ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures and controls. Additionally, be able to provide support on special requests

  • Strong interest in continuously improving the automation of the accounting and reporting process

  • Produce error-free monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables such as journal entries, reconciliations, reports in compliance with GAAP

  • Present Balance Sheet account reconciliations

  • Contribute to coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors

  • Apply oneself to various department-wide initiatives

  • Provide monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting

  • Present analysis on financial results such as trends, performance metrics, benchmarks, etc.

Requirements

• Key player in the month-end close process, including preparation of journal entries, reconciliations, reports, and schedules to ensure accurate and timely reporting of monthly financial close.

• Collaborate with GL, A/P, A/R and Operations to ensure all close and financial reporting deadlines are met.

• ensure all journal entries and reconciliations relating to payroll and benefits are reported accurately and timely for monthly financial close.

• Assist in preparation of complex, non-routine financial reports and account analyses as requested by management.

• Provide audit support for external auditors, including quarterly and year-end audits.

• Perform other duties or special projects as requested by management, support system implementation and system integration issues.

• Develop and/or update procedures to enhance efficiency and internal controls.
