Robert Half Controller in Tucson, Arizona

Description We are seeking a Controller to join our team in Tucson, Arizona. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, and budgeting. You will also develop and implement financial procedures, conduct internal audits, and manage the company's cash flow and financial planning. This role also involves preparing and analyzing monthly financial reports to assess the company's financial performance and liaising with external auditors during financial audits.

Responsibilities:

• Overseeing financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and budgeting

• Developing and implementing financial procedures to improve the effectiveness of operations

• Preparing and analyzing monthly financial reports to assess the company's financial performance

• Managing the company's cash flow and financial planning

• Conducting regular internal audits to ensure financial compliance

• Implementing cost-saving strategies and measures to enhance financial performance

• Liaising with external auditors during financial audits

• Coordinating with department managers to assess the company's budget and forecasting needs

• Monitoring and assessing financial risks that can affect company operations

• Preparing tax paperwork and ensuring timely submission

• Collaborating with the management team to align financial management with company objectives

• Implementing and enforcing financial control measures and developing strategies to minimize financial risk

• Supervising and reviewing the work of the accounting department

• Providing training, guidance, and feedback to accounting staff

• Staying informed about the latest legislation and regulations relating to financial reporting and accounting

• Making recommendations for system improvements to streamline financial operations

• Overseeing payroll processing, benefit packages, and tax filings

• Ensuring accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year-end close reporting

• Liaising with stakeholders, clients, and suppliers to ensure smooth financial transactions. Requirements • Demonstrable proficiency in 3M

• Adept at using Accounting Software Systems

• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services is preferred

• Proficiency in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software

• Experience with Crystal Reports is desirable

• Proven expertise in managing Accounting Functions

• Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP)

• Experience in managing Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Strong background in Auditing

• Knowledge of Budget Processes

• Experience in Migration is an added advantage
