Robert Half Financial Planning & Analysis Manager in Tucson, Arizona


Robert Half is seeking a FP& A Manager for our well-respected client! The FP& A Manager must have deep analytical capabilities, strong verbal and writing skills, and the ability to multitask and work under multiple tight deadlines at once. If you are an experienced FP& A Manager looking for a challenging role at an established company, this may be the role for you.

Key responsibilities

  • Support regulatory filings

  • Supervise and oversee the operations of the financial planning team

  • Provide key financial analysis to enable both day-to-day and strategic decisions

  • Arrange financial models and data mining tools for variance analysis

  • Produce key financial analysis to support strategic and day-to-day decisions

  • Participate in and contribute to cross-functional development teams to address strategic issues

  • Develop operating budget and forecasts by estimating the costs and benefits of operating plans during the annual budget development cycle

  • Provide financial analysis support for the corporate budgeting and forecasting processes

  • Complete financial valuation and analysis for mergers and acquisitions

  • Test fiscal and budget assumptions in the development of operating plans

  • Manage all aspects of staff, including recruiting, selecting, training, evaluating, and retaining employees

  • Supervise financial analysis and developing short- and long-term financial forecasts

  • Support financial deliverables to the executive team

Requirements - Advanced computer software skills, including writing macros in Excel, Access, financial Modeling and other accounting packages

  • Complex problem solving skills are a must. Candidate must be able to analyze complex business problems, propose effective solutions and understand and apply business vision and direction

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related field is required

  • Strong quantitative and qualitative abilities

  • Excellent influencing and interpersonal skills

  • 8+ years of experience in FP& A required

  • MBA, CPA, CFA, or other relevant certifications are a plus

  • 2+ years of FP& A supervisory/leadership experience

  • Skilled in building relationships and communication

  • Must have high business acumen
