Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounting Clerk in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The role involves performing various accounting and bookkeeping tasks within the telecom industry. You will be instrumental in keeping financial records updated, preparing reports, and reconciling bank statements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Processing business transactions such as accounts payable and receivable, disbursements, expense vouchers, and receipts using accounting software programs
• Keeping financial records updated and ensuring the company’s daily accounting functions run accurately and effectively
• Reconciling bank statements and preparing reports for review
• Utilizing Excel formulas and Microsoft Excel to streamline processes and improve efficiency
• Handling Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) duties, including data entry and account reconciliation
• Employing 10-Key Accounting skills to ensure accuracy in data input and calculations
• Resolving customer credit inquiries, monitoring customer credit accounts, and taking appropriate action to collect delinquent payments. Requirements • Minimum of 1 year of experience in an Accounting Clerk role or similar position
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Excel Formulas
• Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP)
• Familiarity with 10-Key Accounting and Account Reconciliation
• Proven ability in Data Entry
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is preferred.
